We are mobilizing our network of local nonprofit, corporate, church, and logistics partners like Sol Relief and Operation Airdrop to respond to Hurricane Laura in Louisiana and Texas.
Communities around the Gulf Coast are affected every year by natural disasters such as hurricanes. This leaves the most vulnerable people in urgent need of help to survive and recover. Historically, those with a background of working in a country alongside local communities are best suited to support relief efforts quickly and efficiently.
World Hope International will respond by using volunteer aircraft to deliver supplies to partners on the ground. Acting fast before, during, and after an emergency and collaborating creatively with diverse partners has meant we can assist the vulnerable when some of the greatest disasters strike.
*Spending of World Hope International (Canada) funds are confined to Board approved projects. Funds designated towards a project are used as designated, with the understanding that when the need for that project has been met or cannot be completed for reasons determined by the Board, the remaining funds designated will be used where needed most.
